Captain John Keais Hoyt (1840-1912) an NC native who was in Mobile, AL when Sumter fell. He enlisted in the Mobile Rifles which became K Company, Third Alabama. GGG uncle of William W. Moore.
Lieutenant W. B. Hundley. At the time of the picture in 1861, he was a Lieutenant in Co. D, 5th Georgia Infantry. He ended the war as a Major in Co. D, was wounded three times but stayed the entire duration surrendering finally at Durham Station. Lt. Hundley is the Great Grandfather of Ben Willingham.
